Dave Ehrie, General Manager of Werley Heating and Air Conditioning based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, said the company is looking to expand its offerings to include plumbing and electrical services. The company was acquired by Ace Hardware in August, marking a move to provide comprehensive solutions under one roof.

Founded by Mike Werley in 1979, Werley Heating and Air Conditioning has been a trailblazer in embracing industry best practices and adapting to the ever-evolving technology in the equipment the company provides and installs. Werley offers heating repair and heating installation.

In an interview, Ehrie said he joined the company on March 6, 2000, initially through the Co-op program as a high school student. This program allowed him to attend school in the morning and gain practical work experience in his chosen trade in the afternoon.

According to the company's website, Werley's HVAC professionals have built a reputation for addressing heating and cooling needs promptly and efficiently. Their team combines professionalism and expertise, ensuring a hassle-free resolution to HVAC issues in and around the Allentown area. "Our reputation has always been known as a company that takes care of the customers by providing high quality installation and service work to our customers in a timely manner," Ehrie said.

Ace Hardware recently acquired the company in August. Ehrie said, "We are looking to add to our in-home services options by adding a plumbing and electrical division" as the company grows. He added, "Looking at how there are less skilled tradesmen in the field today, it would be a great service for our customers to be able to take care of their plumbing and electrical needs."

The ACE acquisition has garnered a positive reception overall from their clientele base. Ehrie said, "Remember, we have been around for over 40 years. Not only have we replaced systems in our customers houses multiple times, but we are also serving their children, who have grown up seeing our trucks at their parents' house and are now using us as well in their homes."

Werley offers HVAC repair and any heating and cooling repairs.
