Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh) has announced that veterans assistance appointments are now available for the month of February. The appointments will be held on Friday, February 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at his Lower Macungie Township office, and on Tuesday, February 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at his Northwestern Lehigh office.

These appointments provide an opportunity for veterans or their dependents to meet with an American Legion service officer to discuss issues and inquire about benefits and programs they may be eligible for. The services are offered free of charge, and veterans do not need to be American Legion members to receive assistance.

To schedule an appointment at the Lower Macungie office, veterans or their dependents can call 610-965-9933 or 833-933-3675 (toll free). For the Northwestern Lehigh office, appointments can be scheduled by calling 610-760-7082.

Mackenzie, in partnership with the American Legion, has been providing this monthly service at his district offices to support veterans and ensure they have access to the resources they need.

According to Mackenzie, "These appointments are an important opportunity for veterans and their dependents to receive personalized assistance and guidance on the benefits and programs available to them. We are committed to supporting our veterans and ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve."

Veterans in the area are encouraged to take advantage of these appointments and schedule a meeting with the service officer to address any concerns or questions they may have.
