Everett Selected as CSAC Defensive Player of the Week; Grapsy Named Honorable Mention

First-year Ellise Everett (Orlando, Fla./Lake Nona ) and junior Ava Grapsy (Macungie, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) of the Cedar Crest College volleyball team were honored by the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) in the release of its weekly awards on Monday morning.

Everett picks up Defensive Player of the Week accolades after she tallied 14 kills and eight blocks in a pair of wins for the Falcons. She tied for the team lead in blocks with three in the victory over Cairn and tallied a match-high five in a sweep of Wilson.

Grapsy earned an Honorable Mention selection after registering 58 total assists and 23 digs in the two matches. She recorded a season-high 40 assists and added 16 assists for
a double-double against Cairn and closed the week with 18 assists and seven digs in the three-set win at Wilson.

Cedar Crest (9-8 overall, 6-1 CSAC) will travel to Notre Dame of Maryland University for its next match on Wednesday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m.
