On Saturday, March 8, former Central Catholic High School standout Andres Hurkmans’ current college team, the Mercyhurst Lakers, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Coppin State Eagles.

The game took place at Mercyhurst Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 12 p.m. at Mercyhurst Baseball Field against Coppin State Eagles.
