On Tuesday, March 4, former Louis E. Dieruff High School standout Ranciel Ventura’s current college team, the Mercyhurst Lakers, lost 18-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Kent State Golden Flashes.

The game took place at Olga Mural Field at Schoonover Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Flashes this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at Mercyhurst Baseball Field against Coppin State Eagles.
