Northampton Community College professor Brian Alnutt donates $300 to Susan Wild's campaign

Brian Alnutt, a professor at Northampton Community College, donated $300 to Democratic Party candidate Susan Wild, according to the Federal Election Commission.

According to records, there have been $2,721 in campaign contributions made by individuals affiliated with Northampton Community College as of November 3. All of these contributions were made to Democratic Party candidates and committees.

Anita Forrester's contribution of $1,008 to Democratic Party Susan Wild was the largest contribution made by someone affiliated with Northampton Community College since January 1, 2019.

According to an Inside Higher Ed analysis of federal elections data, individuals that were affiliated with colleges and universities have donated five times more money to Joe Biden than to President Trump. A study by Pew Research in 2017 found that 58 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents thought colleges and universities have a negative impact on the way things are going in this country.
