The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Patrick Joseph Toomey, Toomey for Senate Committee, refunded $500 to Jeffrey Shapiro on March 4, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Toomey for Senate Committee has refunded $481,202 total since Oct. 1, 2020.
