Lehigh Career and Technical Institute  issued the following announcement on Mar. 14.

Twelve Lehigh DECA members qualified for the international competition this spring in Atlanta.

Lehigh Career & Technical Institute students earned a slew of gold medals and first-place finishes Feb. 15-18 during the Pennsylvania DECA Career Development Conference in Hershey. Forty members of LCTI’s DECA chapter competed at the event with the hope of qualifying for this spring’s International Career Development Conference in Atlanta and 12 of them made the cut.

In addition to competing, chapter member Emilee Barkley was elected Pennsylvania DECA President for the 2022-2023 school year. She is currently serving as the state vice president of community outreach.
