Dave Ehrie, general manager of Werley Heating and Air Conditioning Co, said the company's main priorities since its founding in 1979, continue to be quality tailored to meet specific customer needs.
The company was acquired by Ace Hardware in early August.
"Our reputation has always been known has a company that takes care of the customers by providing high quality installation and service work to our customers in a timely manner," Ehrie told Lehigh Times. "Our approach has always been an 'Advisory approach to HVAC solutions' meaning we will take the time to educate the customer on their options and let them decide what works best for them."
According to the company's website, Mike Werley started the business in 1979. The company has consistently led the way in adopting industry best practices, staying in step with the constantly evolving technology of the equipment they provide and install.
Dave began his journey with Werley on March 6, 2000, while he was still a high school student enrolled in vocational school. He initiated his tenure at Werley through the Co-op program, which involved attending school in the morning and gaining practical work experience in his chosen trade during the afternoon.
Over the next few years, Werley is looking into expanding its range of in-home services by introducing plumbing and electrical divisions. Many of Werley's customers regularly inquire about assistance with electrical or plumbing issues, and they frequently need to be directed elsewhere. Given the diminishing number of skilled tradespeople in these fields, offering plumbing and electrical services would greatly benefit their customers by allowing them to address all their needs under one roof.
In August of 2023, Werley was acquired by Ace Hardware, according to an Aug. 10 Facebook post. Werley said that they're excited for the partnership, and to utilize the resources that they now have access to through Ace.
