Veterans in the Northwestern Lehigh area will have the opportunity to receive assistance and support regarding their benefits and programs. Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh) has announced that veterans assistance appointments are currently available on Tuesday, Dec. 19, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at his Northwestern Lehigh Office in New Tripoli.

During these appointments, veterans or their dependents can schedule an in-person meeting with an American Legion veterans service officer. This meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss any issues or questions they may have regarding their eligibility for benefits and programs. It is important to note that veterans do not need to be an American Legion member to receive these free services.

To secure an appointment with the service officer, veterans or their dependents are encouraged to call Mackenzie's office at 610-760-7082. These appointments are usually held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, but in light of the Christmas holiday, they have been scheduled earlier for December.
