Senator Jarrett Coleman has announced the allocation of $281,000 in state grants for projects aimed at improving infrastructure in Bucks County. The funding, sourced from natural gas drilling impact fees rather than taxpayer dollars, will be distributed through the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA).

Perkasie Borough is set to receive $200,000 to enhance Kulp Park. The grant will support the rehabilitation of a baseball field, installation of updated LED lighting, and creation of ADA-compliant parking and accessible pathways. Senator Coleman highlighted that "a previous grant for the park was used to renovate tennis and pickleball courts and install LED lighting. This round of funding continues improvements for this well-loved community park." He added that these upgrades would make the park more accessible to a broader segment of the population.

Dublin Borough will benefit from an $81,000 grant aimed at modifying the Dublin Village Greene Detention Basin. These modifications are intended to address sanitary sewage overflows linked to increased rainfall. The project includes reducing streambank erosion and addressing nutrient and sediment impairments by removing debris and regrading the basin bottom near the outlet structure. Additionally, it involves reconstructing existing emergency spillways and replacing an existing pipe with a more efficient inlet box outlet structure.

The CFA is an independent agency under Pennsylvania's Department of Community and Economic Development, responsible for administering various economic development and community improvement programs within the state.
