85 percent of applicants to Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Lehigh Valley were admitted for fall 2018

At Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Lehigh Valley, 87 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 54 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Center Valley enrolled 912 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 8.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

92 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 5 percent are residents of other states. 3 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (55 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (16 percent).

The school admitted 85 percent of the 1,045 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 26 percent enrolled.
