Cedar Crest College Athletics issued the following announcement on Dec. 13.
A pair of Cedar Crest College basketball players were honored by the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) on Monday afternoon.
Freshman Francess Suah (Philadelphia, Pa./Constitution ) and junior Ashley Wilson (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) were tabbed as Honorable Mentions. The duo had solid outings in a 77-66 loss to Wilson College.
Suah recorded a team-high nine rebounds while Wilson knocked down nine-three pointers en route to a game-high 33 points. She also recorded four boards, four assists, and one steal. Wilson has scored in double figures in every game so far for the Falcons and is leading the conference in points per game (22.9).
Cedar Crest (1-7 overall, 0-5 CSAC) will next play at Lebanon Valley College on Thursday, December 30 at 5:00 p.m.
