Cedar Crest College Athletics issued the following announcement on Feb. 22.
The Cedar Crest College field hockey team was the recipient of a 2021 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Team Award, as announced by the organization on Monday.
The Falcons were one of 148 Division III programs to earn the distinction.
The NFHCA National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year.
