Cedar Crest College Athletics issued the following announcement on Feb. 22.
Cedar Crest College junior Ashley Wilson (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) was recognized as an Honorable Mention weekly selection by the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) the sport of women's basketball, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Wilson averaged 21 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.6 steals in a three-game week. She had double-digit points in every game, highlighted by 26 against Valley Forge. Wilson also registered point totals of 13 in a win over Saint Elizabeth and 24 in a loss to Bryn Athyn.
She scored double figures in every game this season and finished her junior campaign with 442 points while leading the conference at 21 points per game. Wilson was named as a Second Team All-Conference selection on Monday.
Wilson and the Falcons concluded the season with a 6-15 overall record with a 5-13 mark in the conference.
