Cedar Crest College Athletics issued the following announcement on Mar. 4.
The Cedar Crest College soccer program will be hosting a summer camp from July 18-22 (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) for kids and teens ages 6-13 that are looking to grow their love and skills of the sport.
The camp will be run by the current coaching staff, Head Coach Jesse Zafiratos, as well as some current players.
Masks will be required as of right now, however, that is subject to change as guidance in our area changes. Cost for the camp is $150, which includes a t-shirt.
Please be sure campers bring the following equipment each day:
- Cleats
- Sneakers
- Shin guards
- Soccer ball
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Snacks (for breaks) – There will also be snacks to purchase via concessions.
9:00 a.m.: Camp warm up/Group gathering
9:15 a.m.: Fun camp games
9:30 a.m.: Break into groups for technical stations
11:00 a.m.: Snack break - please bring your own (The camp will have a concession stand if you wish to purchase)
11:30 a.m.: Skills challenge/Group games
12:00 p.m.: 3v3 and small sided games
12:30 p.m.: Full field 11v11 9v9 & 7v7 games
1:00 p.m.: End of camp
