Cedar Crest College Athletics issued the following announcement on Mar. 18.
The Cedar Crest College track & field team is scheduled to embark on its 2022 season this Saturday, March 19 at the Monarch Invitational hosted by King's College (Pa.) at 10:00 a.m. Here's a preview of the Falcons' upcoming season.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- This year's roster features 17 student-athletes (Fr. – 6 | So. – 1 | Jr. – 8 | Sr. – 2) who come from seven different states (Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington).
- The Falcons finished third at the 2021 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship. Head Coach Alec Duncan was selected as the CSAC Coach of the Year.
- Junior Kelsee Schouppe (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) returns to the team this year following last season where she was a Second Team All-Conference selection in the hammer, shot put, and discus.
- The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship will take place May 7-8, which will be hosted by Alfred State University.
