Lehigh Carbon Community College issued the following announcement on Mar. 14.
In anticipation of the financial aid priority filing deadline of May 1 for Pennsylvania state grant eligibility, Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will offer financial aid FAFSA completion workshops at all three LCCC campuses.
Registration is required due to limited space (computer labs) and to ensure social distancing. Appointments can be scheduled for 6, 7 or 8 p.m.:
Thursday, March 31, at LCCC Tamaqua
Tuesday, April 12, at the main campus in Schnecksville
Tuesday, April 19, at LCCC Allentown at the Donley Center
Spanish speaking staff members will also be available to assist at the sessions on main campus and at the Donley Center.
Current and incoming students will have the opportunity to work with a financial aid advisor to answer questions about filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) application and receive additional information that will be helpful as the student and their family prepare for college and the variety of funding options available.
The FAFSA is used by students to apply for financial aid such as grants, work study and student loans. You will be able to ask financial aid staff questions about the FAFSA during this interactive in-person event.
