Cedar Crest College Athletics issued the following announcement on Mar. 30.
Five Cedar Crest College swimming and diving records fell during the 2021-22 season.
The team of Abbey Mower (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional), Zaria Berry (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia), Rachael Alulis (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall), and Megan Fiedler (Woodbridge, Va./Woodbridge Senior) broke the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time 9:13.49.
Mower is now the record holder in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:29.31.
In addition to being a part of the 800-yard freestyle relay, Fiedler broke the records for the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.89), 500-yard freestyle (5:43.01), and 1650-yard freestyle (19:47.84).
