Upper Perkiomen Middle School recently issued the following announcement.
2022 PA Climate Survey
The school district is taking part in the Pennsylvania School Climate surveys provided by The Pennsylvania Department of Education. The survey asks questions about school climate and measures four main domains: Social/Emotional Learning, Student Support, High Expectations/Academic Rigor & Challenge and Safe and Respectful School Climate. These surveys are intended to provide our school with formative and summative climate data for use with our needs assessments, program development and short and long term improvement planning. You can view the entire survey at your school’s front office. More information, including a webinar about the surveys, can be viewed at: http://www.paschoolclimatesurvey.org/
Administration of the annual PA Climate Survey are as follows:
- Grade 3-5: April 11-22 during students FLITE classes
- Grades 6-8: April 5, 2022 during Block 1 classes
- Grades 9-12: April 5, 2022 during I/E
All parents are asked to complete the survey, which can be found at https://bit.ly/3ps1G7Z. Parent responses to the survey are foundational to the development of grant funding aimed to supplement school security, professional development for staff, and mental and behavioral health services for students in the district.
