Cedar Crest College Athletics issued the following announcement on May 24.
Cedar Crest College volleyball Head Coach Christian Kiselica has released his program's 2022 schedule. The Falcons' 21-match regular season schedule features 10 home contests at Lees Gymnasium, highlighted by two tri-matches.
Cedar Crest commences its season with an away tri-match at McDaniel College on Saturday, September 3. The Falcons will open the day against St. Mary's College of Maryland at 2:00 p.m. and will close the day against the host Green Terror at 4:00 p.m.
Cedar Crest will then play the next three matches at home. The Falcons will host Gwynedd Mercy University in its home opener on Thursday, September 8 at 7:00 p.m.
The Falcons play host to its first of two home tri-matches on Saturday, September 10 against Moravian University and Alvernia University at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., respectively.
Following the tri-match, Cedar Crest travels to Neumann University for three matches on September 16-17. The Falcons will face Stockton University, the host Knights, and Ursinus College.
Cedar Crest returns home for back-to-back home matches, highlighted by its Homecoming contest against Immaculata University on Saturday, September 24 at 10:00 a.m. followed by another non-conference home match on Thursday, September 29 against Wilkes University.
The Falcons open conference play on Saturday, October 1 at home against Rosemont College. Cedar Crest will also welcome in Gallaudet University for a tri-match that same day.
Eight of the last nine matches will be conference tilts, with the non-conference finale coming at Cabrini University on Friday, October 14.
The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Tournament will start with the quarterfinals on Tuesday, November 1. The conference champion will be crowned on Saturday, November 5.
Cedar Crest is looking to build off its most successful season in program history in which the Falcons went 20-6 overall (9-0 CSAC), won the first CSAC Championship in program history and received the conference's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament.
