The Cedar Crest College basketball and tennis programs collected Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Team Academic Awards, as announced by the league office on Friday morning.
Established prior to the start of the 2013-14 academic year, the CSAC Team Academic Award is given annually to each sports team whose student-athletes, while competing in conference-sponsored sports, achieve the highest combined grade point average. Grade point average calculations correspond with the student-athletes' season of participation during the sports traditional season. The 2022 Winter/Spring Team Academic Awards are based on each team's combined GPA from the Spring 2022 semester only.
Basketball took the top spot in the conference with a 3.556 while tennis registered an overall grade point average of 3.501.
