Soccer Announces 2022 Schedule; Starts Season With Immaculata on September 1

The Cedar Crest College soccer team is scheduled to open the 2022 season on Thursday, September 1 with a home match against Immaculata University at the FalconPlex.

The Falcons will play at home for another three straight matches and a total of eight times in the month of September. Following the Immaculata match, Cedar Crest will play host to Penn. State Mont Alto on September 3, Ramapo College on September 7, and will round out the homestand with New Jersey City University on September 10. The Falcons hit the road for the first time in 2022 on Tuesday, September 13 at non-conference opponent Alvernia University.

Cedar Crest will return home for a four-match homestand. The stretch will feature contests against John Jay College on September 17, Neumann University on September 21, the conference opener against Keystone College on September 24, and will close out with its non-conference finale against Penn. State Schuylkill on September 26.  

The Falcons close September with the start of a three-match road trip, beginning at Clarks Summit University on September 28, followed by Wilson College on October 1, and Bryn Athyn College on October 8.

Cedar Crest comes back to Allentown for a three-match homestand with contests against Cairn University on October 12, Rosemont College on October 15, and Notre Dame of Maryland University on October 22.

The Falcons will play twice more during the regular season, starting with a road match at the University of Valley Forge on October 26. Cedar Crest will then conclude the regular season on September 29 at home against Saint Elizabeth University.

The Falcons, who were the top seed a year ago, look to qualify for the 2022 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Tournament that begins with the quarterfinals on Monday, October 31, the semifinals on Wednesday, November 2, while the finals are slated for Saturday, November 5 at the site of the highest remaining seed.
