HVACR Class Shadow: Air Conditioning & Refrigeration 1
This class will introduce the student to the theory and application of the basic refrigeration cycle as it applies comfort air conditioning equipment. This is the first of four air-conditioning courses and will cover air conditioning applications including installation and service of window air conditioners, split system residential air conditioners, packaged a/c units and light commercial systems. The student will be introduced to the refrigerants presently in use as well as alternative refrigerants and refrigerant oils.
