The Cedar Crest College basketball team was predicted to finish sixth in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.
Notre Dame of Maryland University captured the top spot in the poll with 84 points and four first-place votes. Bryn Athyn followed in second with 80 points and three first-place votes. Wilson College was tabbed third with 64 points. Keystone picked up 63 points and one first-place vote while Clarks Summit University rounded out the top five with 57 points and one first-place tally.
Cedar Crest landed in sixth with 50 points. Cairn University was slotted seventh with 49 points. Saint Elizabeth followed in eighth with 45 points, and the final first-place vote. Rosemont (30) and Valley Forge (28) round out the poll.
The Falcons commence the 2022-23 campaign at Centenary University on Wednesday, November 9. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
