WASHINGTON, D.C.— Representative Susan Wild issued the following statement after voting to against the extreme cuts put forward by the D.C. Republicans:

“This bill does an excellent job of highlighting the priorities of extreme D.C.: defunding schools, defunding law enforcement, and jeopardizing health care for veterans and seniors all while making it easier for the ultra-rich to cheat their way out of their fair share of taxes. I can see why they called it the ‘Limit, Save, Grow Act’ -- it limits America’s economic potential by threatening a recession, saves the ultra-wealthy money, and grows the gap between wealthy and working class.”
