BETHLEHEM, P.A. – Last week, Congresswoman Susan Wild visited Just Born Quality Confections’ headquarters in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to meet with company leadership and celebrate their upcoming 100th anniversary as a third-generation, family-owned candy manufacturer.
“My visit to Just Born Quality Confections in Bethlehem last week couldn’t have been sweeter,” said Rep. Susan Wild. “I was delighted to meet with Just Born’s leadership and tour their production facility to see just how Peeps and other Bethlehem classic candies are made. Businesses like Just Born are a staple of the Lehigh Valley community – so I’ll continue working to support their next 100 years of family-owned candy manufacturing here in the Lehigh Valley!”
During her visit to Just Born’s Bethlehem headquarters, Rep. Susan Wild met with David Shaffer and Chip Jett, Co-CEOs of Just Born; Sam Jett, VP Corporate Responsibility of Just Born; and Meg Dowd, Corporate Affairs Manager to discuss plans for the future of Just Born Quality Confections and 100th anniversary plans in the Lehigh Valley community.
Just Born Quality Confections is celebrating 100 years as a family-owned candy company, relocating to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1932. 100 years later, Just Born has grown to become one of the largest candy companies in the United States, headquartered in Bethlehem in PA-07.
