Rep. Ryan Mackenzie (R-Lehigh), Republican chair of the House Labor and Industry Committee, along with representatives from business organizations and municipal government groups, will hold a press conference to discuss the negative impacts of House Bill 2153. The legislation is said to add time and costs to public construction projects in Pennsylvania, potentially resulting in higher taxes for residents.

Participants include Rep. Barb Gleim (R-Cumberland); Emily Greene, Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania Chapter deputy state director; Jim Willshier, Associated Builders and Contractors-Keystone Chapter director of government affairs; and other committee members.

The event is scheduled for Monday, June 3 at 11:30 a.m., in the lobby of the Ryan Office Building within the Capitol complex in Harrisburg.

Live web streaming of the event will be available at RepMackenzie.com/livestreams, subject to technical conditions.
