Senator Jarrett Coleman has announced a significant financial boost for the water infrastructure in Telford Borough, West Rockhill Township, and Hilltown Township. Nearly $10 million in state funding has been allocated to enhance the Telford Borough Authority's water treatment system.

"Clean drinking water is essential for families and these state dollars will ensure local families continue to have access to this basic life necessity," Coleman stated. He emphasized that "the state money will help pay for these upgrades without further burdening local ratepayers."

The project includes the installation of new treatment structures in the system’s drinking water wells across the mentioned areas. Each well site will see the construction of a free-standing building or an addition to house these new systems.

This funding, provided by the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST), does not require repayment. PENNVEST is known for supporting sewer, stormwater, and drinking water projects throughout Pennsylvania.
