Senator Jarrett Coleman and Representative Craig Staats have announced grant funding for several public safety projects in Bucks County. The funding comes from the Pennsylvania Local Share Account (LSA) program, which is supported by gaming revenues distributed through the Commonwealth Financing Authority as outlined in the PA Race Horse Development and Gaming Act.
The grants aim to support projects that serve the public interest within Pennsylvania. "Ensuring our police have the equipment they need to promote public safety and safe driving is critical," said Coleman. He emphasized that these grants will benefit communities in need across the region.
Staats highlighted the importance of upgrading equipment for local police departments. "These grants will help our local police departments purchase or upgrade necessary equipment to keep our streets safe," he stated. Staats added that this initiative would enhance road safety and protect citizens throughout their communities.
