A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Lehigh County Election Department regarding a voting machines testing report on October 30, 2024.
We at the Lehigh Times, a media organization dedicated to comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, requested these records under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law, 65 §66.1 et seq. We specifically asked for this information in an electronic format, preferably as a PDF document.
The requested report pertains to pre-election tests conducted on election voting machines within the county. The specific fields we asked for include the test date, machine manufacture, machine model number, and machine status indicating whether it passed or failed the test.

We await response from the Lehigh County Election Department and will keep our readers updated on any developments.
