57 percent of applicants to Cedar Crest College were admitted for fall 2018

At Cedar Crest College, 64 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 89 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Allentown enrolled 1,596 students in fall 2018, including 1,323 in undergraduate and 273 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

70 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania, and 29 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (58 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (16 percent).

The school admitted 57 percent of the 1,343 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 27 percent enrolled.
