Grant For Foster Care Community Education In Bucks County, PA

Fcg

Kids Peace Athlete Center School issued the following announcement on Mar. 30.

KidsPeace Foster Care in Chalfont, Bucks County, PA  has received a $2,000 grant from the Upper Bucks Community Fund at Lehigh Valley Community Foundation.

With the proceeds from the grant, the office will produce a series of three public education videos to raise awareness of the challenges faced by foster care agencies in the area and recruit more foster families to meet the growing need.  KidsPeace plans to feature local KidsPeace foster youth and foster families in the video, providing answers to questions about foster care from their own points of view.

KidsPeace Foster Care was one of 14 agencies to receive 2022 funding from the Upper Bucks Community Fund, a geographic affiliate of the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation which primarily supports non-profit initiatives in the Palisades, Pennridge and Quakertown School Districts. (More information about the Fund can be found at www.lvcfoundation.org.)
