Seniors Kiley Marone (Mohrsville, Pa.) and Alexandra Infante (Stowe, Vt.) of the Cedar Crest College field hockey team swept the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Marone was named as the CSAC Offensive Player of the Week after she tallied nine points in two victories for the Falcons. She tallied a hat trick in a 4-0 win over William Paterson and with her second goal of the contest, Marone became the Cedar Crest College field hockey record holder for goals scored in a career. She then closed with a goal and an assist in a 3-2 victory at Sweet Briar.
Infante picks up CSAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after helping the Falcons to the pair of victories, tallying a pair of defensive saves against the Pioneers.
Cedar Crest (8-8 overall, 4-2 CSAC) has qualified as the CSAC Championship Tournament as the No. 3 seed and will travel to No. 2 seed Keystone College for a semifinal contest on Wednesday, November 3 at 5:00 p.m.
