State Sen. Jarrett Coleman (R-16) is reaching out to the residents of the 16th Senatorial District by organizing four mobile office events starting from February 20th. The events will be held in Nockamixon Township, North Whitehall Township, Macungie Borough, and Hilltown Township.

"These mobile office events will make it easier for people to get help with state government programs and services, including the popular Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program," said Coleman. "People can’t always make it to one of our offices, so we’re trying to bring the office to them."

Coleman's staff will be present at these events to assist visitors with state government-related issues, programs, and services. They will help residents apply for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program, which provides rebates of up to $1,000 to eligible state residents. This includes individuals who are 65 years or older, widows and widowers who are 50 years or older, and individuals who are 100% disabled and 18 years or older.

In addition to the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program, Coleman's staff can also assist visitors with Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority (SEPTA) cards, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) issues, Pennsylvania Office of the State Treasurer Unclaimed Property program searches and claim requests, state agency issues not related to PennDOT, and other state government concerns.

The mobile office services will be available on the following dates:

Residents who wish to attend one of these mobile office events are encouraged to sign up by completing a short form on Coleman's website. This will help his staff adequately prepare to provide assistance.

"Our office will be in several neighborhoods in the 16th Senatorial District," Coleman explained. "My goal with these mobile office events is to make state government more accessible to the people it’s intended to serve."
