CITY OF BETHLEHEM: 5/1/20 Up-Dated Hours for Bethlehem Yard Waste Facility

City of Bethlehem issued the following announcement on May 1.

*The Bethlehem yard waste facility will be closed Sundays until further notice. The facility will be open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for the drop-off of materials only. There will be no loading of mulch or compost materials until further notice. People wishing to utilize the facility are required to wear a mask for their safety as well as the safety of City employees. People not wearing a mask will not be permitted to enter the facility. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.”

*UP-DATED YARD WASTE FACILITY HOURS*

 4/28/20 - Mayor Bob Donchez announced today that as a cost saving measure, the City will be eliminating Sunday hours from the Yard Waste Facility schedule.

The facility will be open Monday through Saturday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for the drop-off of materials only.

Reminder that there will be no loading of mulch or compost materials until further notice.

If you need assistance offloading your materials, you are encouraged to bring someone with you to assist in this process. City staff will not be assisting in the offloading of any materials.

The Theis/Cornfeld Recycling Drop-Off Center, located on Illick’s Mill Road, will remain closed until further notice.

 

People wishing to utilize the facility are required to wear a mask for their safety as well as the safety of City employees. People not wearing a mask will not be permitted to enter the facility.

 

Also, be advised that there may be extended wait times and longer than usual lines so your patience will be greatly appreciated.

 

Qualified residents using the facility will need to provide valid ID along with a compost card or proof of residency or voucher.

 

Hours of operation will be as follows:

 

Monday through Saturday: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

 

Sunday: Closed

 

Again, the facility will be open for the drop-off of materials only.
