Fireworks

City of Bethlehem issued the following announcement on June 18.

The City of Bethlehem will present its annual fireworks at approximately 9:15 p.m. Saturday, July 4th (weather permitting). In case of inclement weather the fireworks will be held Sunday, July 5th at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Fired from Sand Island, the fireworks will be visible from various areas of the City particularly around the City Center Plaza on East Church Street. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, spectators are advised to socially distance, following CDC guidelines, when choosing a place to view the display. In adherence with the guidelines, there will be no entertainment on Payrow Plaza this year.

To allow for safety during set-up of the display, all activity on Sand Island East will be closed to the public on July 4th.
