State Representative Ryan Mackenzie | Pennsylvania 187th Legislative District
Rep. Ryan Mackenzie of Lehigh will address the public in a press conference to discuss his legislative efforts aimed at addressing illegal immigration in Pennsylvania. The package includes several House bills that Mackenzie has introduced, focusing on various aspects related to immigration.
The proposals include mandating the use of the federal E-Verify system for state grant recipients, as well as businesses in the meatpacking and food processing industries, and the lodging sector. Additionally, there are measures for reporting healthcare costs associated with illegal immigrants, banning out-of-state driver’s licenses for them, protecting unaccompanied immigrant children, and targeting human traffickers.
Mackenzie will be joined by other House members during this event. The press conference is scheduled for Monday, October 7th at 11:30 a.m., taking place in the lobby of the Ryan Office Building. The event is expected to be live-streamed barring any technical issues.
